Salford RLFC travelled to Hunslet looking to do a league double over their opposition unfortunately they were unable to reproduce the heroics from earlier in the season and went down to defeat, the 1 st time Hunslet have beaten Salford in the league since 1966. It was a cloudy day in Hunslet as a good following of Salford fans who made their way over the Pennines. Danny Lynch started in the front row in the place of Cameron Bate, Brad Dwyer started at hooker with Joe Baldwin and loan signing Alfie Leake on the interchange bench.
