keighley Cougars V Swinton Lions Match report

Swinton Lions suffered their 2nd defeat of the season traveling to Keighley Cougars on Sunday.

Ill discipline was a factor for the Lions early in the contest, Keighley took advantage with a penalty after 3 minutes,  Swinton started to try and create some chances but the pressure faded away and so did Swinton's chances of taking the points back to Greater Manchester.https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1CkxOmV9NHP1xKDW7VJ3Hh958mOKUqwD6

Keighley were dangerous in patches, Scott Murrell created a opportunity with a kick, this allowed Lewis Young space to score and this give Keighley a eight Pont lead., In the 14 minute Cougars star Jack Millar crashed over and with the kick successful a strugging Swinton trailed by 14 points.

28 minutes into this contest Swinton had their 1st opportunity with Jose Kenga going close, unfortunately some fantastic Keighley defence and wrong decisions in attack allowed Keighley to move away from their try line,

3 minutes before half time Keighley's Mo Agoro found space in the Swinton defence to send the Cougars into half time leading 20-0.

Swinton built pressure  in  the 2nd half but a sucker punch try from Charlie Graham and Mo Agoro 2nd try of the game pushed the Cougars clear after 65 minutes.
